Drivers Bio:
Dennis Sletten hails from a desert racing family, which originated with his uncle, Dick Dahn. Dennis Sletten started driving in 1994, with his first Class 11 race being in 1995 at Glen Helen Raceway. In 1996 Sletten won the very first off-road race at Perris Auto Speedway when it first opened. Uncle Dick would often co-ride with him in Class 11 races. Sletten restored and raced Brian Chuchua's Jeep Commando"Holy Toledo" in the Mint 400 as well as a replica of his uncle's Jeep J-10 Honcho “Water Boy.” Sletten has four championships under his belt and his sons, Richard and Tim, have two. Collectively, Dennis and his sons have built or helped to build close to 20 Class 11 cars.
